We take seriously the call to grow as people, and take a personal and simple approach to fostering genuine community. In seeking to embrace and embody all that Jesus has done for us, and commanded us to be, we devote a few times weekly to refreshing our minds and hearts together. These are our weekly rhythms, connected to the whole symphony Jesus has written. Our relationships encompass many more opportunities than these; think of these gatherings as starting points or “docks” for safely entering the waters as we learn to wisely navigate the streams of life.
From Sunday mornings to Monday night prayer, and men’s and women’s gatherings each week we’re “house-to-house,” making our hearts glad in God. You’re invited and welcome to join the rhythm at any time (this week!) We’re committed to our long-term health and wholeness as a church family, as we together learn what it means to be the sons and daughters God has graciously chosen to be in His family.
Sunday morning gathering @ 10 AM(-ish)
Monday night Prayer @ 6:30-8:00 PM
Wednesday evening women’s disciple-making group @ 6:30-8:30 PM
Each Wednesday night, we gather as women to grow as disciples of Christ. From 6:30-8:30pm, we meet at the Kozol Cabin to study the New Testament, pray for one another, and share what God is doing in our lives. It’s a sweet time to get to know your sisters in Christ, learn from God’s Word, and be prayed for and supported in our journeys following Christ. We’d love to have you!

Thursday men’s disciple-making huddles: morning @ 6:00-7:15 AM or evening 7-9 PM
- Thursday morning huddle is 6:00-7:15 AM, hosted at Coffee Rush (900 Main St, Oregon City), where we meet to study, talk, pray, and encourage one another in following Christ in all of life.
- Thursday evening huddle (7:00-9:00 PM) is hosted at a dwelling in Oregon City, a cabin owned by a family in the church. In this private setting we get to dive into Scripture and affirm the challenges and opportunities Jesus has set for us.
(Email jeff@Godrenews.us & firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about these.)
Since many of these take place in people’s homes, we don’t publish those addresses here. Simply send us a quick note below and we’ll send you all the details so you can join in this week. (We also announce them on Sunday mornings, highlighting an emphasis and special scheduling, and note the addresses on paper. Yep, we’re intentionally simple like that.)
