We believe that God has called parents to be the primary disciple-makers in their kids’ lives.  So it is our desire to partner with parents in helping kids learn who Jesus is and who they are in Him.

Every Sunday morning as we gather, Renew Kids classes provide an opportunity for children to be together to laugh, create, discover and learn how to live with Jesus in community.

We offer the following classes most Sunday mornings:

  • Nursery (babies & toddlers, birth through two years): High teacher-to-child ratio with playtime, toys and stories.
  • Preschool (ages 3-4 years): Engaging gospel-centered lesson plans with games, activities, crafts and snacks.
  • Primary (ages 5-7 years): Engaging gospel-centered lesson plans with games, activities, crafts and snacks. With Preschool and Primary kids we introduce Bible themes and the Story of Jesus with a seasonal curriculum called The Gospel Project for Kids.
  • Challenge (readers, ages 8-12 years): Kids are ready to be challenged in a healthy environment with Bible reading, learning how to pray, journaling, learning how to study the Bible themselves, and a discuss on Scripture and God’s global mission.

We write weekly about the happenings, emphases and take-home questions for Renew Kids in the Learning Together blog feature.

  • All of our adult volunteers are vetted, known, and background-checked before they can serve in this ministry. We want to create a learning environment that is safe, fun, and character-building. In the context of healthy relationships we teach children a lesson from the Bible using the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. Children are always welcome to remain in the large-group gathering with their parents.

Everyone, young and old alike, begin the worship gathering together to sing, pray, and share. Then at “half-time” the children are released to their classes. » More on what to expect at a Sunday Renew gathering.
