We believe that God has called parents to be the primary disciple-makers in their kids’ lives. So it is our desire to partner with parents in helping kids learn who Jesus is and who they are in Him.
Every Sunday morning as we gather, Renew Kids provides an opportunity for children to be together to laugh, create, discover and learn how to live with Jesus in community.
We offer the following classes on Sunday mornings:
- Birth to two years old (nursery)
- Three to five years old (Pre-K — K)
- Six and seven years old (1st-2nd grades)
All of our adult volunteers are background-checked before they can serve in this ministry. We want to create a learning environment that is safe, fun, and character-building. In the context of healthy relationships we teach children a lesson from the Bible using the Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. Children are always welcome to remain in the large-group gathering with their parents.
Everyone, young and old alike, begin the worship gathering together to sing, pray, and share. Then at “half-time” the children are released to their classes. » More on what to expect at a Sunday Renew gathering.
Each week the Renew Kids leaders a feature blog post called “Learning Together,” aimed at communicating the lessons your kids will be learning that Sunday, with family discussion questions, resources for discipling children, and ideas for opportunities to engage in serving and loving the world with your kids.
