12/29/13. When Jesus says, “Come to Me all who are weary and heavy laden,” He’s talking about everyone. All of us are restless and weary from trying to prove ourselves, and to cope we’ve taken on burdens that end up harming us. He offers us a better way, Himself, attached to us, as we share His yoke, pulling His burdens. As we begin a New Year full of opportunities and challenges, let’s resolve to look up to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. | Matthew 11:25-30. #rhythms
Starting in January 2014, RENEW will be following the journey of the Scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, tracking the Story of God and His people. We’re calling this series EPIC: following the Hero of God’s Story. How much more powerful and life-changing with the movement of God’s Spirit be in the RENEW family when we’re all reading God’s Word in our homes, embracing and embodying the grace and truth of Jesus our King!
